Self-designed and handmade PVC fabric kitesurfing kite, PVC and metal wormhole, 17min film 

With (kite) I challenged an impossible task as a consumer, to create a complex object from scratch, blurring process and outcome as this kite stayed in flux. Kitesurfers said it felt “like trying to fly a Van Gogh” – but it flew!

After flight, the kite transformed into a hanging creature within an institution, devoid of wind and ocean, but given life in a different context. This work blurs lines between process/outcome, consumer/producer, useless/functional, outside/inside.
